Detailed Itinerary of the Tour

Day 1: Arrive and Kampala City Tour

Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport where you meet and greet the driver guide who transfers you to enjoy a city tour around Kampala as you visit the various attractions, places around the city like Bahai Temple, Uganda Martyr’s Shrine Namugongo, Kasubi Tombs, etc where you learn about these unique attractions. Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

On the 2nd Day of the 5 Days Uganda Gorillas and Batwa Cultural Tour, you shall arrive at the Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and when you reach here, you are welcomed and picked up by a driver guide who takes you through a Meet and Greet Session as he briefs you about the safari and then after, he drives you to the South Western part of Uganda at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

En-route, enjoy views of the green terrain, bird species as well as lunch at Agip Motel Mbarara then after continue on journey (7 to 8 hours) until you reach Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro Lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trek in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

The 3rd Day of the 5 Days Uganda Gorillas and Batwa Cultural Tour gets you to trek the Mountain Gorillas in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

You shall reach here and get welcomed by a ranger guide who informs you about the Mountain Gorillas, their natural vegetation habitat as well as other primates and wildlife animals that inhabit the thick forest. After that, the guide will inform you of the various Gorilla Trekking Groups in the varying sectors of the park then after he will allocate you into groups of 8 per Gorilla Trekking Group.

You are led by a ranger guide to the starting point close to the forest and here you are handed walking sticks to enable you navigate easily through the thick vegetation terrain. You then enter the green forest and trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on reported location of the Gorillas by the rangers with trackers. Follow the trails traversing from one point to another then after a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and staying their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep

After trekking the Gorillas, you shall proceed back to the headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to take back with you then later continue to your 4×4 vehicle to transfer you back to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro Lodge.

Day 4: Batwa Cultural Encounter

Breakfast in the morning on the 5 Days Uganda Gorillas and Batwa Cultural Tour then proceed on a guided community nature walk to the neighboring local communities of the indigenous Batwa People. The guided nature walks take a period of 2 to 3 hours enjoying scenic views of the green terrain then after you reach the Batwa communities, you shall engage in various customs and traditions. Engage in Music, Dance and Drama as well as local activities like cooking, then get to know the various methods they used to survive in the green forest vegetation. Day 5: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe

Morning breakfast on the last Day of the 5 Days Uganda Gorillas and Batwa Cultural Tour then with luggage embark on transfer to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board flight back home.
