The Park inhabits many different Mountain Gorilla Trekking Families that are trekked along the thick forest vegetation terrains as you transfer from one point to another looking for Gorillas in their natural vegetation habitat for a period of 3 to 5 hours. You Must carry with you valid Gorilla Trekking Permits at US $800 per person interested in watching the Big Apes.

Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe to Bwindi Forest National Park

The 5 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari begins with arriving at the Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. When you reach here, you are welcomed and picked up by a driver guide who takes you through a Meet and Greet Session as he briefs you about the safari and then after, he drives you to the South Western part of Uganda at Bwindi Forest National Park.

En-route, enjoy views of the green terrain, bird species as well as lunch at Agip Motel Mbarara then after continue on journey (7 to 8 hours) until you reach Bwindi Forest National Park and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 2: Trek Gorillas in Bwindi Forest National Park

Today of the 5 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Tour, you shall enjoy early morning breakfast then embark on transfer to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.

Reach here and get welcomed by a ranger guide who informs you about the Mountain Gorillas, their natural vegetation habitat as well as other primates and wildlife animals that inhabit the thick forest. After that, the guide will inform you of the various Gorilla Trekking Groups in the varying sectors of the park then after he will allocate you into groups of 8 per Gorilla Trekking Group.

You are led by a ranger guide to the starting point close to the forest and here you are handed walking sticks to enable you navigate easily through the thick vegetation terrain. You then enter the green forest and trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on reported location of the Gorillas by the rangers with trackers. Follow the trails traversing from one point to another then after a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and staying their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep

After trekking the Gorillas, you shall proceed back to the headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to take back with you then later continue to your 4×4 vehicle to transfer you back to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Breakfast in the early morning then embark on transfer to traverse the Uganda Rwanda border at Cyanika where you clear with the border documentation then after embark on transfer to Volcanoes National Park situated in the Ruhengeri District of Musanze Rwanda. You travel for a period of 2 to 4 hours viewing the terrain vegetation, bird species as well as lunch. After a while, you shall reach the park and visit the Iby’Iwachu Cultural Center for  amazing Cultural Encounters and Adventures. Day 4: Gorilla Trek at Volcanoes National Park

Day 4 of the 5 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari, gives you remarkable Gorilla Trekking Adventures which offer you an opportunity to be in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest habitat.

You wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. On reaching here, take a cup of hot tea, cappuccino or coffee to warm you up then get through with the briefing session. You are met by the guide who informs you about Volcanoes National Park, Mountain Gorillas, Golden Monkeys and other primates, bird species that inhabit the forest. After the Briefing session, you shall transfer with lead rangers to enter the green forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas.

Enter the green forest and trek the Gorillas for 3 to 5 hours along the various trails through thick bamboo vegetation terrain and after a while you shall meet the Gorillas and in an hour stay in their presence at a distance of 7 meters taking many photos to keep with you using a camera that has no flash.

After trekking the Mountain Gorillas, return back to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 5: Depart to Kigali

Breakfast in the morning then with your luggage embark on journey to Kigali International Airport to board flight back home.
