Detailed Itinerary of the Safari

Day 1: Arrive and Kampala City Tour

You arrive at the Entebbe International Airport where you meet our driver guide to take you through a meet and greet session as he briefs you about the entire safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Later, he shall transfer you on an exciting Kampala City Tour to explore the various safari attractions and places around Kampala like the Kasubi Tombs, King’s Palace Bulange, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine, Bahai Temple, Uganda National Museum etc. Lunch is en-route then after you shall transfer to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via (Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary)

5 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife and Cultural SafariOn the 2nd Day of the 5 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife and Cultural Tour, you shall have delicious breakfast then with your luggage embark on transfer to the vast Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes you a period of 4 hours along the Kampala-Gulu Highway with a brief stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you get to watch the rare species of Rhinos in their natural forest habitat.

You shall be briefed on conduct around the Rhinos then after trek the Rhinos for a period of 30 to 60 minutes then later you meet the Rhinos and at a distance with camera that has no flash, you shall take many photos to keep. After trekking the Rhinos, you shall get back to the headquarters where you leave from to transfer to the stunning Murchison Falls National Park.

On reaching the Park, you enjoy an en-route Game Drive watching many wildlife animals wander around their habitat. You shall then check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Victoria Nile

5 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife and Cultural SafariThis day of the 5 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife and Cultural Safari, you shall proceed to the Park for an exciting Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching wildlife animals like Giraffes, Buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Bushbucks, Elephants, Hartebeests, Oribs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas etc.

Take many photos then break off for lunch then after continue to the Victoria Nile for an amazing Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls for a period of 3 hours. On the Boat Cruise, you shall have views of hippos, crocodiles, birds as well as many wildlife animals along the banks breaking thirst.

On reaching the bottom of the Falls you shall view the rainbow descending deep into the gushing waters as well as birds then you shall proceed to the banks and transfer back to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Visit the Boomu Women’s Group

The 4th Day of the 5 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife and Cultural Safari gives you an opportunity to explore the local cultural traditions of the Boomu Women’s Group. The Boomu Women’s Group is dedicated to supporting the local communities as well as enhance sustainable tourism. Travelers on this safari get to explore this group to know more about this group that has put in effort to affect the local people’s lives positively.

As travelers, you shall engage with the talented women artisans who create traditional handicrafts like handwoven baskets, beadwork and colorful fabrics. Day 5: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe

Breakfast in the morning then embark on departure to Kampala or the Entebbe International airport to board a flight back home.
